Xen messages
Hi

I have a little query, when I either stop or start my fedora domain. I
keep getting lots of messages like, the folowing examples:

When stopping:

Stopping HAL daemon: audit(1113571378.293:0): avc: denied { write }
for pid=2095 exe=/sbin/minilogd name=/ dev=tmpfs ino=201
scontext=user_u:system_r:syslogd_t tcontext=user_u:object_r:tmpfs_t
tclass=dir

When starting:
modprobe: FATAL: Could not load
/lib/modules/2.6.11-1.1226_FC4xenU/modules.dep: No such file or
directory

Can someone please help me explain why this happens?

Many Thanks
Shaz

That's an SELinux error. I'd have expected you to get it when booting the
same domain natively?

Did you install the Xenified kernel modules into the domains filesystem? It
is safe not to do so but it will give errors like this.

Cheers,
Mark
