The xm-test stuff in the repository should work as far as I know. I'm not
sure whether we host any ramdisks any more.

I have done a quick boot of the live cd hosted at
http://bits.xensource.com/oss-xen/release/3.0.3-0/iso/livecd-xen-3.0.3-0.iso,
and did some case-insensitive 'find' commands on the booted system.
Unfortunately, nothing showed up. So it appears that the xen-test is
still available in the source code repository, but no longer included
in the Live CD ?

Was it ever included in the live CD? The CD is no longer maintained anyway,
and quite out of date, so it's a moot point.

Yes, it was definitely included for Xen 3.0 (before XenSource was
aquired by Citrix), and was explicitly included on a bootable live cd
termed a 'Test CD Image', in order to get a better overview of which
systems and hardware configurations Xen could or could not handle.

According to the Internet Archive/Wayback machine, it was downloadable
from the following url :

Im sorry to hear that. As a non-developer, sending in test reports of
various machine configurations was an easy and useful way to
contribute to the Xen project.
