disk=phy:ftp/data,0803,w at cmdline
The xm create command line doesn't seem to support the specification of
target devices by <major><minor>.

# xm create -c disk=phy:ftp/data,0803,w intsrv

on xend.log:
[2005-02-01 18:26:00 xend] DEBUG (__init__:988) exception looking up
device number for 0803: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/dev/0803'

I also wonder if the device will be added to the list of devices already
in the configuration file or if it will replace them. As I get that
error, I didn't get to check that.

Regards,
Luciano Rocha

Odd -- I'd have expected it to take the same code path as when a disk is
specified in the config file. Running xend with 'start_trace' might
offer some enlightenment.

Mike: any idea what's going on here?

I believe it will override all disks in the config file, though you
should be able to specify multiple disks.
