[RFP] xen proc interface
What do people think about having a /proc interface to Xen. Right now
Xen exports some control information to dom0 via xm list, but its
often cumbersome. Instead, IMHO if we had something like
/proc/xen/vm1/stats, /proc/xen/vm1/debug and so on.

I can see xen creates a proc entry even now, but its mostly empty and unused.

You can write a simple C or Python program that uses libxc to directly
access info from Xen, in cases where it is safe to bypass xend. We
moved away from having lots of control code in the kernel, and don't
want to go back there!
