Welcome to the new Xen.org weekly newsletter with a variety of information to keep you updated on all things Xen. This newsletter is an upgrade from my previous weekly communications and is meant to offer a broader scope of Xen.org activities. Xen Events
* The Xen.org community is hosting a booth at SCALE 2010 in LA from Feb 19-21, 2010. If you are interested in assisting at the booth (and showing your Xen related solution) please contact stephen.spector@xen.org for more information.
* Xen Summit North America is scheduled for April 21-22, 2010 in Sunnyvale, CA at AMD's facility. Event planning is underway so stay tuned for speaking and program committee announcements.
* Xen Summit Asia 2009 - all presentations available at http://www.xen.org/xensummit/xensummit_fall_2009.html and vidoes now available on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/wigyori#p/u

Xen Products
* Xen 4.0 development activities are finishing up as Keir Fraser will be creating a Release Candidate 1.0 either this week or next week. Please contact Keir if you have any features that you want included in RC 1.0.
* All development authors of a 4.0 feature should submit information on that feature to Stephen Spector so a new Xen Datasheet can be created along with blog postings on the new product.

Xen Members in Action
* Jan Beulich from Novell was very active in the development community this week submitting 5 patches and answering 15 questions on the xen-devel mailing list
* Fajar Nugraha was the "super guru" of the week on xen-users mailing list answering 20 questions
* Pasi Kärkkäinen gets the "everywhere member" of the week by answering 15 xen-users questions and 11 xen-devel questions.
* Ahmed Kamal posted information on getting a console up and running with Xen Cloud Platform (http://blog.xen.org/index.php/2010/01/04/taming-xen-cloud-platform-consoles/)
* Zoltan Herpai did am amazing amount of work in converting all the Xen Summit Asia 2009 high-definition videos to YouTube formatted videos; see the entire conference on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/wigyori#p/u
* Xen Developer Interview Series - Have you visited http://www.xen.org/community/devint.html to see some of the interviews?

Xen Weekly Statistics
* Project Golden Ratio (http://blog.xen.org/index.php/2009/12/10/project-golden-ratio-update/) is underway with various items being tracked. I will highlight different numbers in the newsletter with full reports to the community on a monthly and quarterly basis.
