Installation of MediaWiki on Sun Solaris
I have been asked to install and setup and MediaWiki server on one of our
Sun Solaris 2.8 servers

Could anyone that has tried this or know of the relevant source I would
really appreciate the help

I tried out an older version on Solaris 9/x86 quite months ago, but
haven't tested it recently. It ought to work fine so long as you have
all the prerequisites; namely Apache+PHP and MySQL.

Apache and MySQL (3.x) packages are available from
http://www.sunfreeware.com/ if you don't already have these set up. PHP
should compile from source with no trouble (get gcc from sunfreeware if
necessary).
