Agile Wikipedia?
Do you know the Agile development and the Agile Manifesto? It's a best
practice in the Software Engineering.

I could see that there are strong similarities with Wikipedia processes:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agile_software_development#Principles_behind_agile_methods_-_The
Agile Manifesto

Are there some researches which already have analyzed these similarities?

The POV here the notion that Agile is a best practice and not just
another mildly harmful fad.

In any case, there are a lot of old WikiWiki people who are card
carrying members of the cult of agile.

Ok I understand but:

it's A best practice <> it's THE best practice.

In any case: "Est modus in rebus", naturally any overstatement get a fad
and a cult.

I am asking for a comparison with the theory and with the aims of the
theory.
