Response was invalid [1]: ISAKMP_N_INVALID_EXCHANGE_TYPE
Hello,

I just installed vpnc on FreeBSD from ports, and when I try to connect
to my VPN, I get the following error:
    response was invalid [1]: (ISAKMP_N_INVALID_EXCHANGE_TYPE)(7)

I've attached the full debug output generated by the --debug 3 flag.
Is there anything that I can do on the client end to fix this error?
Or do I have to get in touch with the sysadmin?

Thanks,
Rohit Patnaik

Hello,

I managed to fix the problem on my own. The solution was to clear the
IKE Authmode flag in /usr/local/etc/vpnc.conf.

Thanks,
