Looking through ~/trac/contrib/trac-pre-commit-hook), it seems that it
a) enforces that a ticket# is being included for every checkin.
b) if multiple ticket#s are present, at least one of them is open
Is there a reason to enforce that I cannot checkin without an open ticket as in option (a), or am I reading something wrong.
Also, shouldn't the logic for option (b) be enhanced to be:
+) for every ticket listed,
+ ticket is open
+ make sure that the person submitting is really the owner of the ticket
+ make sure that the code is being submitted in the same branch(version) as the listed ticket
Finally, is there a developer's wiki to explain how I can have the install point to my local copies of trac-templates/trac-python scripts?
thanks
