Hello everyone...
Parallel development at its finest; I have pushed out a 3.40-pre1
release. This is an experimental release which supports loading a new
config file, as well as forcing the type of file (to avoid nasty
surprises with KERNEL vmlinuz-2.6.18-1.0 and the like.)
The following caveats are currently present:
1. THIS IS NOT YET IMPLEMENTED IN THE MENU SYSTEM!
It will be, but isn't yet.
2. A FONT statement is not cancelled when a new configuration file is
loaded (a KBDMAP statement is, however.) This requires some
additional smarts.
For those of you that have asked for this feature, please try it out.
I'm still planning to release a 3.31 which only contains the
improvements to the graphical menu system. 3.40 contains some fairly
radical changes in comparison, and will probably take some additional
time to stabilize/complete.
