spfmilter dies after few minutes..
Hi,

I am new to this group and spfmilter..

I have installed spfmilter on our mailserver. Unfortunately, after
processing few mails say(10 to 20), spfmilter deamon dies by itself..
My system details are
1. Debian etch
2. sendmail

spfmilter, i have install using apt-get install spfmilter. I works for first
few mails.. I am attaching the error log below.

Feb 14 15:27:29 xxx sm-mta[24836]: n1E9vROL024836: milter_read(spfmilter):
cmd read returned 0, expecting 5
Feb 14 15:27:29 xxx sm-mta[24836]: n1E9vROL024836: Milter (spfmilter): to
error state
Feb 14 15:27:29 xxx sm-mta[24836]: n1E9vROL024836: Milter: from=<>,
reject=451 4.3.2 Please try again later

I have tryed googling, but could not get any useful information.
I am having doubt that any more packages need to be install or any other
services need to be run.

Any information is welcome

Thanks in advance

I'm not that familiar with Sendmail milter integration (I use Posftfix). I
have had some conversations with the Debian spfmilter maintainer and I
believ it generally works on Etch.

I would suggest using Debian's normal support mechanisms to get distro
specific help. There's also the option to upgrade to Lenny (being released
today.).
