Where to publish SPF record
Good Morning, one of my clients DNS is hosted by XO - therefore I
created their SPF record at XO. However, I'm reading a lot of articles
where people are creating the SPF record on their local DNS servers on
their LAN. Does this need to be done in addition to creating the SPF
record at your DNS hosts website or is this a substitute? It just seems
redundant to me. Can someone please explain? Thank you.

SPF records MUST be published in the public DNS. There may be some
situations where publishing it also in internal DNS makes sense, but
generally it shouldn't be required.
