I thought if you chose the isp domain as an optional domain it just adds
the entire isp.com domain name. I havent needed it so didn't verify.

appear in the mx records.
Is there a way to say accept from any server that has an A record within
the mailstreet2003.net domain using some sort of wildcard.
eg ms01.mailstreet2003.net onesidontknow.mailstreet2003.net etc?

I think it just refers to the isps spf records, if they have none it
won't work

To do this, you might want to use the ptr mechanism:
