New Test version of Python Policy Server for SPF
Thanks, to Scott Kitterman, I have used the OpenSUSE Build Service (OBS)
to create downloads for

CentOS_5, Debian_Etch, Fedora_8, Mandriva_2006, RHEL_5, SLE_10,
SUSE_Linux_10.0, SUSE_Linux_10.1, openSUSE_10.2, openSUSE_10.3,
openSUSE_Factory, and xUbuntu_7.10

I can make other Distributions available as listed on

https://build.opensuse.org/

It is available at

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:gerberb/

You choose which linux distribution you want from below.

[DIR] CentOS_5/ 19-Feb-2008 09:47 -
[DIR] Debian_Etch/ 19-Feb-2008 09:49 -
[DIR] Fedora_8/ 19-Feb-2008 09:47 -
[DIR] Mandriva_2006/ 19-Feb-2008 09:49 -
[DIR] RHEL_5/ 19-Feb-2008 09:47 -
[DIR] SLE_10/ 19-Feb-2008 09:49 -
[DIR] SUSE_Linux_10.0/ 19-Feb-2008 09:49 -
[DIR] SUSE_Linux_10.1/ 19-Feb-2008 09:49 -
[DIR] openSUSE_10.2/ 19-Feb-2008 09:49 -
[DIR] openSUSE_10.3/ 19-Feb-2008 09:48 -
[DIR] openSUSE_Factory/ 19-Feb-2008 09:49 -
[DIR] xUbuntu_7.10/ 19-Feb-2008 09:48 -

For example I wanted it for OpenSUSE 10.3 so below is the url.

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/gerberb/openSUSE_10.3/noarch/python-policyd-spf-0.6.0-2.1.noarch.rpm

You can do a search for packages using...

http://software.opensuse.org/search

Please test and let Scott and I know of any problems.

Thanks,

Thanks.

I would, however, suggest people not use the opensuse RPMs for Ubuntu on
Ubuntu or Debian systems. Namespace collisions with the official packages
are likely. I've prepared a candidate package for Debian/Ubuntu (and other
Debian derivatives):

http://kitterman.com/spf/postfix-policyd-spf-python_0.6~rc1-0_all.deb

This should work with Debian Stable (Etch) and later. It will not work with
oldstable (Sarge). This should work with Ubuntu Edgy and later. It will not
work with Dapper.
