Of course, many DNSBLs were braindead (BLARS), degenerated into
something at the border of extortion (one zone of SORBS), had no
decent exit strategy (monkeys, osirusoft), or folks using a DNSBL
had no clear idea what it actually does (SPEWS).

But I still hope that the DNSBL draft gets an RFC number, see also

and the author if you like this draft, for the reasons noted above
it's not as easy as it should be to get this memo published as RFC.
