Razor2 is not available?
Hi all,
I am very new to spamassassin and razor.
I have installed on my Mandrake 9.1 platform spamassassin 2.63 and it is
working fine.

I am installing them as a non privileged user as I am testing them out before
implementing them system-wide

Later I have added the Razor 2.36 agents, which seems to work (after
registration I tried
razor-check -d sample-spam.txt
and all seems to work fine)

I then set on the local.cf of spamassassin
use_razor2 1

Unfortunately spamassassin -D keeps saying:
debug: Razor2 is not available

Do I have to re-build spamassassin or is there anything I am missing out?

Thanks a lot,
Giulio

1.) Try rebuilding spamassassin. I think I've read somewhere that SA has to
see Razor2 on install to use it.
2.) There is a patch for Razor that comes with spamassassin. SA won't use
Raz without it. See README and Razor2.patch in the SpamAssassin-2.60 source
tree.

Nope. It'll try to use the modules all the time (unless disabled via
"use_razor2 0"). The problem is that SA can't see the modules.

Well, SA will use Razor, but it'll all die with "Insecure Dependency",
which the patch fixes.
