Question Regarding Whitelists

I'm fairly new to this newsgroup and to SpamAssassin.

I setup up a whitelist recipient as myself, and I've tried running a few
tests, and my mail still is being classified as spam.

Any ideas?

1) what exactly did you do to "set up a whitelist recipient"

2) what is the X-Spam-Status from one of the tagged messages?
