Actually domains are case-insensitive, but the username/local-part can
be depending on your MTA.

Well I guess that my bug report then is part bug part feature request.

The bug being that the domain portion matching should be case insensitive w.r.t.
white/black lists.

Then the feature request would be to have a config option, perhaps in a local
or user config file setting that would make the entire matching of email
addresses with different cases still be given a percentage of the points it
would have received if the case matched exactly.

So for example, if I have an entry in my personal prefs like:
preference | value
blacklist_from = hotstuff@adultmail.com

And then I could also have a new setting similar to the following:
preference | value
case_mismatch_precent = 60

Now when I get an email from HotStuff@AdultMail.com, rather than getting 0
points added to the message, this message would get 60% of the full points and
thus no doubt be placed in my SPAM folder. Defaulting the above setting to 0
maintains the current functionality of considering the email from
HotStuff@AdultMail.com to be from a new sender.

Does this sound like a reasonable mix?

Many thx for considering this!!!
