Quagga sample files not in the usual path

Hello,

I am new to qugga - so, sorry for the elementary question.

I tried to install quagga on Ubuntu. However, I am not finding the "sample"
files in the usual path - /usr/share/doc/quagga/examples/

In fact, example folder does not exist at all.

I tried to install it using the command apt-get install quagga.

Please help.

Given below are the details of my configuration:

I am using Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS

Output of dkpg -l quagga:

dpkg -l quagga
Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold
|
Status=Not/Inst/Conf-files/Unpacked/halF-conf/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend
|/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad)

routing daemons (metapackage)

output of dpkg -L quagga|grep sampl is just BLANK.
