I've been following this guide https://www.linuxjournal.com/magazine/ipv4-anycast-linux-and-quagga on setting up Quagga/OSPFd for anycast. However the anycast address is never sent out via ospf nor added to the ospf route table.

I've found the same issue reported to the RedHat Bugzilla https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1441882 however this was closed as not a bug with no comments.
OS is RHEL7
Any help or suggestions on where to go from here? I've searched the lists and couldn't find anything matching this.
