The PIDDLE development team is pleased to announce the first alpha
release of PIDDLE -- Plug In Drawing, Does Little Else.

PIDDLE is an easy-to-use drawing API with backends that do the actual
drawing to a variety of formats, including PDF, Postscript, QuickDraw,
Tk, PIL, and eventually OpenGL and Windows.

This first alpha release is a little rough around the edges, and not
for the faint of heart. But if you're up for some adventure, you may
find it quite interesting. For more information and to get the
