I've updated the 1.6 page on python.org (http://www.python.org/1.6/)
to include the latest schedule for 1.6. I've also included a link to
Andrew's "what's new" article. Here's the new schedule in text form:
July 1: beta 1; feature freeze.
July 14: beta 2, in time for the O'Reilly Open Source Software Convention.
August 1: release candidate.
August 15: final release.
I'm happy with how the patches are coming along today (/F even
submitted the SRE patch...). We may actually have a release party
