c2ph, v1.7
While I don't generally advocate using this, it should at least
work in the release. Apparently, Larry bundled c2ph v1.5 not v1.6,
which means that it had various problems. In fact, 1.6 was 2k
bigger than 1.5; here's 1.7, which has a couple very small fixes
over 1.6: the most important one is a forever loop due to perl5
parsing this differently

/stuff $_{2,} blah/

in a pattern. perl4 thought it was a repeat count, and perl5
thinks it's a %_ hash. this caused forever looping in

s/()/blah($1)/ge

constructs. (Although I think it detect that there's a no progress
bug there or something.)

Anyway, this works with both SunOS's cc compiler and gcc, which was
the big diff between v1.5 and 1.6.

Of course it really should work with objects. But notice how I implemented
classes before Larry did? :-)

Hm.. it occurs to me that the panic() code is wrong. Don't call it. :-(
