In case anone is interested, I have an alpha release of Compress::Zlib
(formerly Zip in the modules file) available if anyone wants to play
with it.
For those of you who don't know, this module provides an interface to
part of the forthcoming zlib compression library from INFO-Zip. It
allows both in-memory compression and read/write access to gzip files.
I don't want to formally post the module just yet, as zlib is still
beta. So if you want a copy contact me directly for now.
