I am forwarding the question on behalf of my customer National University of
Singapore, NUS. NUS is currently using secure shell SSH-2.0-2.1.0 on HP9000
servers running HP-UX 11.00. Recently there is a security issue on SSH
Secure Shell Ver. 3.0.0 in combination with Unix OS.
I would like to seek advice if the current version of my customer
SSH-2.0-2.1.0 has the same security holes as SSH Secure Shell ver. 3.0.0.
If yes, is there any work around without upgrading to ver. 3.0.1 or changing
authentication to not using the /etc/passwd.
