Hi,

Thank you for the time spent answering me

I've installed the Free version :Community Edition (2.3.160415). If I want to switch to the Pro version do I need to reinstall NTOP via the link provided on the site after the payement or is it possible de convert my free version to a Pro one? I say you that because there is no place to insert the serial number via "About NTOP" in the Community edition.

Hi,

First of all sorry for my English...

I'm a new user of Ntop. I've installed in on a Ubuntu server 16.04 via "apt-get install ntopng". So I do not have the last version.

Could you please help me because I've got some questions?

How can I update my Ntopng?

I wish to acquire the pro version of Ntop, what do I need to do to inject this licence in my server? The pro version of Ntop allows to benefit from 1 year of update and some additional features. What happened after this year? No more updates ok, but do I keep the pro version with his additional features or I switch on the free version?

My network is behind a proxy, so when people surf on internet, connections that appear on the flow interface do not display the remote sites but the IP of the proxy (proxy HTTP). Is it normal?

When I reboot my ntop server I don't keep the the flows of the previous period. I tought that It was recorder in a database

If you want to record flows to database, use option -F with MySQL or ElasticSearch.

Is it possible to launch the "-F" via the ntopng UI? If not, where do I need to make the modification? By doing this, you mean that I will see the traffic/flow on a long period in the ntopng UI or do I need to import files in another software like ElasticSearch to view the result of the history?

Hi,

I noticed that you are using version 2.3.x. So please update to the latest
stable version (2.4) or to one 2.5.x nightly build.

You will then be able to find an input box under the "about" page that you
can use to enter the professional license key. The conversion
community->pro will occur automatically as soon as the license is validated.
