Google Apps Google Talk service
The person I spoke with at Google said they were aware of the issue
and are working on it.

I'm kind of irritated with the fact that is has been 3 hours and
wasn't posted on their very own status board:

http://www.google.com/appsstatus

But hey, Don't be evil.

Still nothing that I can see. What is the issue?

It wouldn't allow login on either Firefox or Chrome (never bothered
with IE) on either of my PCs and my Android phone was complaining the
login wasn't valid and that I should see if Chat was enabled on the
Google Apps account.

It is resolved on my two PCs but my phone has been "Signing in..." for
about 15 minutes since I killed the ps.

It is working on my phone now. I just power cycled it (maybe DNS changes?)

I think they have some kind of cutoff re: the number of people
affected. I find that when I'm having a problem google admits they're
having; if I ask my friends if they're having the problem, and they're
not -- it doesn't show up on the appstatus. I think it's like this:

I find that at the ISP where I work, if I describe a problem to tech
support or customers then every problem they have (no matter how ill
suited to the problem description) quickly becomes the problem I
described. All debugging and troubleshooting halts and it's pretty
much the rare thing I described.

My hunch is that they don't include smaller outages on the appsstatus
board to avoid inference issues.
