SCB CM Syslog Messages in M40
Hi Everyone,

Have not been able to find this kind of message in the syslog documentation for 5.x or 6.x
... Anybody know what this is about? My guess was that not pressing the front panel button
to take the FPC offline caused it. This appeared at reinsertion of an FPC and the button
was actually pressed before removing the FPC.

Lab-m40 scb CM: Slot 2: State change request to probed while previous change to empty was
pending
Lab-m40 scb CM: Fatal chassis manager error, Internal error; pending state inconsistency

This was followed by an SCB crash :)

Thanks!
-Kashif.

the FPC slot is going through it's states and there was a
removal which was not finished and all the sudden it gets
request to a propped state which is needed when a new FPC is
trying to get online. I bet something was not don't correctly
and the chassisd log would provide us more details and all
the sequence what had been done and if the off-line bottom
has been pressed correctly or not ...

this is the only way to recover from such a fatal
event.
