JUNOS and FreeBSD Security Advisory FreeBSD-SA-03:14.arp
As JUNOS is mostly FreeBSD, I would like to know wheter the FreeBSD
bug noted in the security advisory FreeBSD-SA-03:14.arp is also in
JUNOS? This could cause annoying situations where there are networks
connected to Juniper router and access to the L2 media carrying the
networks is easy.

The advisory can be found here:

JUNOS and FreeBSD Security Advisory FreeBSD-SA-03:14.arp [ In reply to ]
Matti,

we are currently looking into this. Our arp implementation is
rewritten and different then that from FreeBSD and we don't believe
we are vulnerable but we have not confirmed it yet and once we have all
tests finished we will report this as we have done on previous security
alerts.

thanks
Josef
