Operating Temperature
Hi,

Is it normal to have operating temperatures of 36 C / 96 F on the FPCs
and Routing Engine? Just wanted to get a feel for what the
"normal/optimum" temp should be...

Thanks

Not sure of what is normal. It seems that an M5 runs a few degrees
higher than an M20:

These temps come form an M20 in an a room wih AC:

Operating Temperature [ In reply to ]
We have M-160 with 1-3 FPC's only,
and it seems the FPC's run in High 40's n the fans kick up on high speed preety often....
Intutively this doesnt seem to good,
we were advised to clear up Air-Filters
however , doesnt seeem to help much.

rgds,

From my experience, M160's tend to run much much hotter than lower M
series routers, even with small configs.
