Some of our users in a large NT/filer environment experience a huge sporadic slowdown (20 min OK, 5 min slow) when a filer or NT BDC work with distant DCs through the secure channels over WAN links.
Symptoms: windows explorer frozen, save as... in Word frozen/slow, filer share mapping lost, logon impossible, etc.
Please tell me if you have experienced the similar problems... Can it be related to the WINS, DFS or some other configuration?
