Incidentally we have had issues with 9.1Px running CIFS (SMB) to remote sites using Cisco Wave accelerators.
7-Mode CIFS is fine, but CDOT has a 40 second delay opening office documents.
It appears that the SMB2 protocol gets down-negotiated to SMB1 which takes 40 seconds.

Not sure what the difference between 7-Mode and CDOT 9 is but, something is definitely different about the CIFS \ SMB protocol.

fas2520 ontap9.0p1 running CIFS only.
now started having lot of file access issues, admin/service cannot access (delete) student homedirectory files, error is:
0x80070057 the parameter is incorrect

any seen this?

Same here with Windows 10 rollout / SMB3 and Riverbeds in remote sites. Had to put in bypass rules in Riverbeds until Riverbed OS upgrades fix SMB3 support.
