WCOM (stock ticker) which owns Uunet, has had its stock go up from
22 to 25 1/4 from Wed April 30 till the end of Friday May 2. Perhaps the
market sees UUnet's move as a wise financial decision?

At the end of Feb they were at 27.5. Far more likely that this move
is just part of the last week's global record gains in the market.
In the last two weeks the Dow has gained around 600.

The market was up significantly Friday. Like almost 100 points of up.

Look at what CSCO (Cisco Systems) did during the same period (and I missed
most of it, and ain't too happy about it :-)
