dead HDHomeRun Prime
Hi,

My HDHomeRun Prime went south. Last night it was complaining about lack
of ethernet connection (status lights indicated dhcp trouble, but
nothing was showing up on the router). I unplugged it overnight. Today
when I plug in the power the only thing lit is the central tuner light.
I see no documentation of this indication.

I can't find any factory reset or other similar things.

Does anybody recognize this and have a suggestion?

SiliconDust site says the prime is "under development" and there's
no mention of the 6 tuner model. But I suppose that's not news.

PS: I've been considering cancelling TV services anyway for various
reasons. I only have the basic TV service at like $16/mo, but I've
recently found(because I'm ignorant and didn't notice) that there's an
additional "broadcast TV fee" of $27.25. Holy moley. So that's one
reason. There are others.

This sounds like the power supply going bad.

Well, glory be.

I found another power brick with the same output (from an old Roku) and
the Prime is magically back to life.

Thanks!
