Backend stopped in RequestRingBufferBlock
Recording is fine, watching recordings works. When watching tv the frontend
(and sometimes the backend) will crash a lot. When this happens the backend
reports:

"Backend stopped in RequestRingBufferBlock"

and the frontend when it does report might say:

"Delaying to next trigger: 201151"
Or something about QTime parameter not found.

I'm using a PVR-250 on a dual 1ghz box with a gig of ram. What do these error
messages mean?

thanks,
Joshua

Means you're using a via chipset and the ivtv driver doesn't like those
chipsets.
