Myth was working just great, now suddenly I don't get any sound.

I am using the ALSA drivers on a clean RH 9.0 install. The suggested trouble
shooting method using xawtv and aplay works and I don't have any other
issues with sound, only whne watching or recording TV.

It does record, I just don't get any sound.I checked the wiring as well and
it is all setup properly.

Any suggestions?

Hi Joe,

sounds like your capture settings are wrong. Start alsamixer and make
sure the input where your TV-card audio output is connected to is set
for capture (usually Line-In or Aux).
Also check the volume settings, especially the ADC control (should
also be set to capture).
