If you're running Redhat 8/9 and you are willing to try some software that
is still being developed. You can try the following:
1. Back up the mythconverg database if you have used mythtv before
2. Open a shell window as root
3. Enter the following command:
wget -q -O -
http://mythtv.dwightandamy.com/go.sh|sh 3. Select CVS as the version to install
4. Select the modules you want to install
5. Answer the questions needed to configure XMLTV
6. Wait several hours as everything is downloaded, compiled and installed.
7. Restore the mythconverg database, if this isn't a fresh install.
8. Run /usr/local/bin/mythtv_setup and set up your TV tuner card.
9. Run mythbackend
10. Run mythfrontend
Keep in mind this is a really early development version of the software
and it is quite possible there are still bugs.
