Post-0.9 CVS for PVR-250 card?
I see mention of needing to run a CVS version that was
released after 0.9 because of having a PVR-250 card.

Is this at all true? I'm running a CVS version from
*before* 0.9 and it seems to work fine with my
PVR-250. Comments?

The 0.9 pre-release from CVS works fine with the PVR-250, it's what I'm
using as well.

.9 was the first _release_ to support the PVR cards. The code in CVS
established support for them between the .8 and .9 releases.

So yes, CVS had support for them before .9
