playing myth saved files elsewhere?
My wife would occasionally like to watch myth's recorded files on her
windows machine. Is there anything out there that will play these
(mpeg4 .nuv files)?

Also, is there anywhere other than the database to look up the actual
names of the recorded shows? It'd be nice to have something to
reference other than the numeric id.

You can play them fine with mplayer running on windows. If you have cygwin installed it is a relatively simple task to compile mplayer. As for show names, the database would be it. I've got a quick hack at a perl script that I use to find the appropriate file to play. Attached below ...
