MythWeather problems
I recently updated from CVS from 4/24 to CVS from 5/04. Now, in the "Next
day's forecast" screen of MythWeather, I only get one line, cut off with an
elipsis (...), like this:

"Tomorrow expect a high of ..."

Kind of useless...

Funny thing is, sometimes if I view conditions for a different location, I
get the full text. Not all locations, though.

Also, the radar picture for me doesn't update... I still show a week-old
radar picture!

I'll be away this weekend; I'll try another CVS grab when I get back, but in
the meantime can anyone shed light on this?

I had changed the weather-ui.xml file, did you update your MythWeather CVS
too?

The radar file is located in /tmp/ and named weather.jpg

If it's not updating on the screen it might not be able to write to that file
for some reason. You can try deleting the file and see if that helps.

If that doesn't work you can start mythweather with the --debug command line.
This will output information about the radar image's link, it's size, and
what not - you will be able to see if it is downloading the new image
correctly.

Let me know if you are still having problems with it.

Re: MythWeather problems [ In reply to ]
Deleting the /tmp/weather.jpg fix that problem... I guess I had run
mythweather as root at some point and the tv user didn't have permission to
overwrite it.

As far as the "tomorrow's outlook" text being cut off, changing the font size
in weather-ui.xml from 26 to 24 did the trick. I think the textarea
container was not *quite* tall enough for 2 lines at 26pt font. Might want
to see if others have a similar problem...
