I had my packard bell remote working perfectly with mythtv yesterday. I had to recompile the kernel to get everything working. I compiled lirc-0.6.6 from scratch as well. Today I booted and tried to run the remote with mythtv - no acton! I opened a terminal and issued irw and tried clicking remote buttons just don't print anything on the terminal. I checked and rechecked, the lirc_serial module is loaded, the lircd has been started and the lircd.conf file is in place.Can somebody help me out with suggestion what else to check?
