If this is the one that comes in a 'mce150 retail pack' (with usb ir
receiver and rc-6 on the back) then I use this one - no problems at
all, seems to have all the right buttons in the right places :-)

We use a MS one which can read the other remotes too.

I can send you the config file (Cannot remember what it is at the moment) if you
decide to get one.

Highly recommmend the shuttle remote
It just goes and no lirc to configure.

Someone said this works as a HID device. If so, that saves a _huge_
amount of hassle with LIRC.

I heard that the shuttle needs to to change the keyboard map for it to
work in a sane way. This then breaks you using the keyboard.

Did you have any issues with it?

Yes, it can break your keyboard but only the s key on mine (you could
just not map the stop button on the remote and use an alternative key if
this is an issue).
You should be able to work it so that it only maps your keyboard for
Mythtv and doesn't affect other apps (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
I don't have a keyboard plugged in so it isn't an issue.

nb 0.19 has a very nice virtual keyboard for typing things into myth
that you can navigate with the remote.
