Using DVB-T in Auckland
I've managed to get my Freecom DVB-T USB tuner working with Knoppmyth
but I had to use a more recent 2.6.15 kernel. If anyone else has a PCI
or USB based unit and is having issues tuning it, here is a sample
channels.conf file that should work for mplayer or xine.

So are there any other MythTV users here with some DVB kit?

I've got a TechniSat DVB-S card in my machine. It's currently
grabbing EPG data for me. The card was installed after my rebuild at
xmas, and since the machine has been really stable and busy since
then, I haven't risked messing around with Myth enough to set the
card up properly.

This is now working quite well. Ive set this as the primary encode but
only mapped TVOne and TV2 to it. Then all channels are mapped on the
second encoder which is my analog PVR-150 MCE card. Hence I can watch
Desperate Housewives or Commander in Chief off DVB-T.
