Anyone on this list know of a source of quiet mini-atx power supplies at a
reasonable price?

I got a SilenX one from www.modyourpc.com which is <14dba and seems very good
and quiet so far. As far as reasonable price - well, the $$ go up as the dB
goes down. :-)

Is that micro-atx or mini-itx? If it's mini-itx, you could try
http://www.itx.co.nz/ I went with an external 12V power brick and a
DC-DC adaptor board for my M10k machine, price wasn't the nicest, but
it is definitely quieter. Just have to deal to the the CPU fan and
it should end up near silent.

Some links worth checking:
www.quietpc.co.nz are comprehensive
www.ascent.co.nz is worth comparing.

Unfortunately quietness costs money, as others
have noticed... "silence is gold" (or something
like that.)
