I believe it has (minimal) changes to support storage groups.

Due to "issues" (there is a long history, which
is in the upstream archives), there are no
libbluray development libraries shipped with
EL8, making use of the internal version
needed unless you are going to require
someone to independently build it (and
due to "protocol" you can then not make
those development libraries available
in the usual public places).

There is some hope RH will not make the
same mistake in the future EL9, but only
time will tell.
