May be just try obfuscate the latter. But I've heard that it doesn't
really help as crawlers get pass the obfuscation. May be just leave it as
it was, as well, contrary to my previous suggestion.

Why does this need to be the full address ? This isn't the crontab itself, this is the README.SITE file.

It is a real crontab. the crontab we have on perl.apache.org is not under
svn (and I can't see how it can be), so this section of the file is the
only place where we story that crontab, which can be used to restore
things if for some reason they get lost.
