Some regions have the FM transmitter disabled for example. I can't recall any other differences. Maybe the installed localization (languages) are also different.

FM transmitter being enabled/disabled depends on a flag set in cal, not something to do with the software region.

The indian variant doesn't have Skype, the rest are just locale differences afaik.

P.S someone did mention that emergency numbers differed but I'm not sure of that.
