access to cvs rep
Hi Everyone -

I have some changes that I'd like to submit to the Lucene project, but
I'm not sure how to gain authentication to the cvs repository. The website
told me to join the list. Well, how? :)

Also, what version of the JDK and JavaCC should I use, and where should
I retrieve them? (I don't know if there is a special Jakarta distribution
that is in use or something like that)

Thanks,
Alan

Alan,

Please send the patches to the -dev list for now.
JDK 1.3 and 1.4 should work with Lucene, as should 1.2(.2?) and maybe
even 1.1.8.

JavaCC you need to download from www.webgain.com, get the latest
version, 2.1.

Otis
