Hi Alan,

Yes, my ha.cf files assign different addresses, 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2.
After heartbeat started, ppp0 interface is set up, and I can telnet 192.168.0.2
in the machine 192.168.0.1. The PPP connection seems rather well.
But heartbeat's packages haven't got from the connection.

Anyway, I'll take your advice using "raw" serial connection.

It does not fix my problem. It's just a coincidence.
An the interesting thing is that this mistake don't affect the function normally.
A cute mistake. :-)
