I'm new to the list, so this may have been covered before, but no matter
what paths I put in the install script, it always copies the share files to
/var/www/html...

Copying share/ files to /var/www/html.......................done.
Moving HTML files to /home/httpd/html/construct.............done.

I never accepted the defaults in the script, I always typed in my own paths.
any ideas? copying the files to the right place isn't a big deal, but I
don't want to have to do it every time.

Off the top of my head, I'd say you're running either a Red Hat or a
Mandrake Linux box, and that your document root in
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf is set to /var/www/html

What happpens if you have VirtualHost containers in your httpd.conf file?

Also, shouldn't the path from httpd.conf merely be a default, rather than
the override that it seems in Benny's case?
